Founded in 1881, Watford Football Club first entered the FA Cup in 1886, joined the Southern League ten years later, has been in the Football League since 1920, and during the 1980s spent six seasons at the highest level of English club football. Compiled by the author of "The Watford Football Club Illustrated Who's Who", this is a detailed record of more than 4000 first-team matches undertaken by the club in its first 117 years. Marvellous for the stat-minderd hornet
Good facts and a very interssting read. It's still touch and go this season, but with this book we will be able to reflect on out championship winning season of 1998 whatever happens with the remainder of this.
